The Rygan the Katana Noble Steel is an elegant and well-balanced LARP katana from the Stronghold Masters Collection, created for those who appreciate both precision and expression in their equipment. The name Rygan, “dragon’s eye,” reflects the sword’s character: focused, controlled, and with a noticeable yet understated presence. Its form is inspired by the classic katana silhouette, but refined for fantasy settings and fast-paced battles.

This updated version has been streamlined and rebalanced for smoother handling than previous models. Made from latex-free, injection-molded EVA foam around a reinforced fiberglass core and with a Kevlar-reinforced tip, it is built to withstand frequent use. The slightly slimmer profile makes it particularly suitable for intense combat, while maintaining the Stronghold series’ softness and durability.

The Noble Steel finish in silver provides a clean and classic impression that suits everything from historically inspired characters to stylish fantasy figures. The handle is wrapped in traditional katana style with crisscrossed canvas in small, square segments that provide a stable and comfortable grip, even during longer sessions. The balance between the hilt and blade makes movements fluid and natural, without losing the feel of each strike.

The stylized tsuba adds a discreet fantasy touch with its angled, curved shape. It can be easily removed or replaced with other Stronghold-compatible guards, allowing the sword to be customized for different characters and styles.

With its slender design and thoughtful construction, the Rygan works equally well for LARP as for cosplay, stage performances, and photography. From samurai-inspired role-playing characters to anime fantasy heroes, the Noble Steel version is a versatile and expressive choicelight, durable, and ready for the next chapter in your story.
